Description

Day 1 – Arrive In Manali and Jespa

·      Arrive in Manali, where you will be picked up and driven to Jispa via the Rohtang La Pass, which is 13398 feet high. After five hours of driving, you will arrive at Keylong.

·      Have lunch at a restaurant and proceed the trip to Jispa.

·      Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and relax.

Day 2 – Jespa to Tsomoriri Lake

·      After breakfast, go on a nearly 200-kilometer trip today that will reveal breathtaking views of some of the most breathtaking scenery.
After 115 kilometers, arrive in Tsokar. Tsomori-ri Lake is 85 kilometers ahead.

·      Tsomori-ri is brimming with a wide range of scenery, including charming little lakes and hills. As you continue taking a trip, you will reach the Rupshu valley.

·      Tsomori-ri is the biggest brackish water lake which has no electrical outlet.

·      Stay overnight in a camp/ hotel.

Day 3 – Tsomoriri to Pangong Lake

·      After breakfast, we ventured to Pangong, a postcard-perfect location.
By the evening, you will have arrived at your destination. Loosen up by the lake and spend the night at a camp or hotel after dinner.

·      The Pangong Lake: A trail that leads the site visitor into oblivion with the gorgeous vistas of the towns of Shey and Thiksay, as well as turning off the Indus valley via the side valleys of Chemrey and Sakti. The Chang-la (18,000 feet/ 5,475 M) spans the Ladakh range and is open for much of the year unless when there is severe snowfall.

·      Tangse, which is just beyond the foot of the pass, is fortunate to have an ancient holy site. Tangse, located simply past the foot of the pass, happily has an old holy place.

·      Yet the main attraction of this circuit is the Pangong Lake, positioned at 14,000 feet (4,267 M). It is among the amazing sights of the mountains of the Changchenmo variety to the north.

Day 4 – Pangong to Leh

·      After breakfast, explore Pangong Lake and, on the way back, visit Shey Palace and Gompa.

·      Arrive at Leh and stay overnight at the hotel.

·      Thiksey Gompa: Located 19 kilometers from Leh, it is one of the city's architectural highlights. It consists of several sacred spots with magnificent photographs, stupas, and Buddha wall paintings.

·      Sindhu Ghat: Each year, the Sindhu Ghat in Choglamsar town at the financial institution of the River Indus hosts a celebration, providing an excellent opportunity for people from all over the world and the country to visit this magnificent place and experience its rugged appeal.

Day 5 – Lower Leh Sightseeing

·      After breakfast, drive to Alchi, passing by the amazing sites of Magnetic Hillside, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, and the Zanskar-Indus River confluence.

·      Visit Alchi Monastery before driving back to Leh. During this voyage, you will also visit the Hall of Fame.

·      Arrive in Leh, settle into your accommodation, and stay overnight.

Magnetic Hill is close to Gurdwara Shri Patthar Sahib. It has been observed that when a car is parked in neutral on this metallic road, it glides uphill.

Gurdwara Shri Patthar Sahib honors Shri Guru Nanak Deve Ji.

The merging of the Zanskar and Indus rivers on the road to Sham Valley before Nimu town is a beautiful sight that is considered blessed and promoted.

Alchi Gompa is located approximately 70 kilometers from Leh on the banks of the Indus. The Gompa's wall surfaces have mini-sized portraits of Buddha. This is the only monastery of the 34 abbeys that is not located on a hilltop.

The Hall of Fame is a magnificent museum created by the Indian Army. You may see souvenirs, notable security personnel with tools, profiles, and images from the Kargil battle and other important tactical engagements fought in Ladakh.

Day 6 – Leh to Nubra Valley

Arrive at Nubra Valley via the highest motorable road (5602 meters) Khardungla in the morning.

Arrive at Nubra and then travel to Hundar to see the White Desert. Enjoy a camel ride on your own. If time allows, visit Hundar and Diskit monasteries before returning to your campsite. Spend the evening at leisure and stay overnight at the camp.

Khardung La Pass, at 18,390 feet height and around 39 kilometers from Leh, is considered the world's highest motorable road.

Deskit Village: Deskit is the principal village in Nubra Valley, having a small market with a row of stores and a 500-year-old Gompa on a hill.

Deskit Gompa was founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo of Stod around 1420 AD, during King Dragspa's reign. Gustor Festival is the pièce de résistance right here.

Hundar Village: Hundar is a lovely town with a little abbey and a demolished fort above it. The Camel Safari (Double Bulge Bactrian camels) from Hundar to Deskit never fails to captivate visitors.

Day 7 – Nubra Valley to Leh

After breakfast, travel to Leh via Khardung La Pass, and once there, go around the city to see the bazaar, Leh Jokhang, and Leh Mosque.

Stay the night in a hotel in Leh.

Day 8 – Departure
